A long time ago, a doll made for good luck was made in peru. The doll is an incas doll, meaning its from the religion of a part of Peru and many other places.In colder areas in Peru, like Machu Picchu started to sell the dolls,and started believing in incas in the 15th century. I will take you on a journey of what the the dolls look like, why they were made, and all the culture behind them.
The dolls appearance:
The dolls wear older clothes that look like clothing of wool and other materials on the thicker side, because in the part of Machu Picchu they were made in is colder lands. The dolls are average sized they are around 12 inches, and there is many types of the dolls, a mom holding a baby, a lady sewing, and many more. The dolls normally have about 2 to 3 layers of clothing
What the dolls are made for:
The dolls are like a dreamcatcher but also a good luck charm. They are around to help you when your stressed,scared, or when you feel like your going to have a bad day or even night. They also, have special colors used for good luck like, yellow, red, black, blue, and green. And may use eyes as a symbol of good luck.
The dolls culture:
The dolls are from the area of Machu Picchu. In the 15th, a group of girls and woman were sitting around and playing with clay and they thought they could make one too! They started by building the base with wood,then added clay to the base and added skin tone,then slowly weaved clothing and sold one then went viral started a company.

The incas were interested in many foods, crafts, and often the world around them, they believed that they have 3 equal spots as a ruler (1: Hanan Pacha, 2:Uka Pacha, 3: Cay Pacha.)They were very creative that is where the good luck dolls came from.
The Incas were a people that believe 3 rulers have different jobs but are all equal in power. They have names like the, Hanan Pacha, Uka Pacha, and Cay Pacha. They have been there from 1200c.e. They settled into a small village high in the mountaints called the andes mountains also known as cuzco (center). Eventually, cuzco became the capital of this empire.
